TUMBLING PROGRAM: Tumbling for Cheerleading

CHILDREN'S RECREATION PROGRAM: Day-Time Recreation Classes & Summer Camps for Boys and Girls Ages 3-12 Years Old

TCA is known as the best and most popular tumbling gym on the south side of Chicago for training school and recreational cheerleaders. We specialize in tumbling EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHEERLEADING and invite you to experience our state-of-the-art facility!

TCA has been in business since 2001, having occupied our current facility since 2004. We are a family-owned and operated business, and are extremely dedicated to our athletes and their cheerleading teams.

In addition to our tumbling classes and floor rentals, TCA is in it’s second year of our Recreation Program -- year-round day classes and summer day camps (held weekly in June and July) for boys and girls ages 3-12 years old. Our highly-qualified and trained adult instructors have 45 years of combined recreation instruction experience teaching preschool through elementary-age children. TCA boasts a highly-qualified staff and a variety of tumbling classes to fit every cheerleader's needs.  Our tumbling coaches are certified and qualified to teach your children in a professional and safe manner. We take time to teach our students correct and safe techniques. With a low 5-1 student-coach ratio, our tumbling classes allow for more floor time for athletes per class. Our certified coaches have 30 years of of combined tumbling and cheerleading experience. Our 8,000 square foot facility is fully AIR-CONDITIONED and HEATED.   We are proud that our facility houses several tumbling and cheerleading surfaces, including a full-size competition spring floor and a flat cheer floor to meet the needs of all school and recreational cheerleaders and their teams. Our tumbling instructors use hands-on spotting. Our innovate running belt system is also available for instructing technique and accelerating skill acquisition. TCA students utilize various tumbling surfaces and equipment for their training, including an air track, tumble track, and foam tumbling pit. TCA offers private team tumbling classes customized for your whole team or general group classes for individuals, as well as private lessons, open gyms and gym rentals.

Our general group classes are skill-based classes. Beginner classes work on skills and techniques for back handsprings. TCA instructs many high school, junior high school, and recreational teams, many of whom became Illinois State champions, and National champions. We invite you to be a part of a gym where your cheerleaders get results. The most successful cheerleading teams in our area expect their cheerleaders to tumble year-round.  Each cheerleading team in our area differs in what tumbling skills are required for their teams, and TCA offers many classes and highly-qualified instructors to meet every cheerleader's needs. TCA does NOT have all-star cheerleading teams of their own; rather we are committed to training your school team, so your athletes will never be recruited or solicited to join an all-star team in our gym.
